But apparently the whole 12 classes a week thing/ having classes from 10 am til 9 pm, and also having assignments on the weekend makes it a lot harder to find time to update travel blogs. that being said, i am currently waiting for my flatmate to finish showering so i can shit, so i can tell you a little bit of whats been going on.
classes. We have this project where we are turning a few scenes from a book into a theatrical performance and it is a nightmare. we have strong personalities clashing, and so we've been having people passive aggressively snap at one another all the time. its supposed to be this big collaborative effort but people keep trying to take control of it, and it got to the point where i did start taking control myself. not good for the project, but we really needed it.
I went to the eye with Bec, and there will be pictures of that up eventually. so yeah, there's that.
I also went to the british library where i went into the Ritblat collection and checked out a bunch of really cool ancienty books. Like they had a copy of the first folio there, being a theatre nerd i was very excited to read from that. they also had an interesting display of terrence rattigan's which i found fairly fascinating.
i'm going to stratford this week so i'll probs tell you the interesting stuff i see there and will post a few pictures, but for now
good night,
and good luck

I'm in London
Congratulations! If you are reading this that means that you are one of the few people who cares enough about me to read my travel blog (e. g. you are probably family, close friends, or someone who drunkenly stumbled on here). So what's been happening you ask? It's funny you should ask that, cuz lots has been happening. A week ago today I was in New York. Now I'm in london, in case you couldn't tell from the title of this blog.
As orientation winds down i have to reflect on all the shit i've done and seen, and tell you, its been good.
I've gone inside the House of Commons, eaten vegetarian fish and chips had a flight of wine with fancy cheeses (varieties of Blue, Goat, Cheddar, and some really nasty stank cheese that i hope never to encounter ever again) There are few big grocery stores out here so most of what i plan on eating for the coming semester is going to come from a small supermarket a block away. My camera has been a bit temperamental so there are no pictures so far, but i have visited parliament, buckingham palace, blackfriars bridge, the globe, and St paul's. I am going to the London Eye tomorrow though so there should be pictures of that instance, barring total camera catastrophe.
There will be more to come eventually including pictures, mostly of kittens, and other fun stuff.
